Job Summary
Provide extraordinary customer service to high-caliber passengers while ensuring safe transport of passengers and luggage between the terminal and aircraft. Operate vehicles in congested areas with moving and stationary equipment under various weather and visibility conditions, requiring the ability to sit or stand for long periods and work in inclement weather. This part-time role involves rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off, with flexibility to work additional hours when operationally necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must report to work regularly and on-time
- Must be self-motivated
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver's license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off
- Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control while attempting to influence a favorable impression of American Eagle, American Airlines or any other contracted airline service provided by Envoy
Desired Qualifications
- One year of previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous working experience transporting passengers preferred
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand Spanish (in some locations) preferred
