Job Summary
The Part Time Porter is responsible for the general upkeep of the community, including cleaning and preparing areas for residents and guests. Key responsibilities involve dusting, mopping floors, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, collecting trash, and completing project work such as carpet shampooing and window cleaning. The ideal candidate should have the ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal work instructions
- Ability to prioritize work assignments in order to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to function with minimum supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Previous experience in floor care is preferable, but on-site training is provided
