Job Summary
Teach students of all skill levels and ages, from pre-K through 12th grade, while developing customized lesson plans based on individual goals. Monitor and evaluate student progress, host two recitals per year in collaboration with other instructors, and cultivate a positive, encouraging learning environment. Maintain accurate, organized student records and work independently or collaboratively to support the School of Music piano program starting in the 2026–2027 school year. Hours depend on enrollment, with compensation tied to the number of enrolled students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field
- Strong foundation in music theory and piano technique
- Excellent communication skills with both students and parents
- Ability to motivate and inspire young musicians
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- Prior piano teaching experience preferred
- Proficiency across multiple musical styles and genres
