Job Summary
Physician Assistant to join Arms Acres in Carmel, NY. Provides health care services under the Medical Director, including exams, order/interpret diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs), perform procedures (injections, immunizations, pelvic/rectal exams, suturing, wound care), develop patient management plans, counsel on therapeutic regimens, discharge planning, and participate in team meetings. Collaborates with Nursing, Psychiatry, and Dietitian; supports continuity of care and education for patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- New York State Certificate for Physician Assistant
- RPAC certified or eligible
- two to four years related experience and/or training
- Psychiatry experience strongly desired
