Job Summary
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence; develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans; provide clinical supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs); deliver hands-on therapy to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and motor skills; educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLP, OT, physicians); document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed; stay current with pediatric PT techniques and evidence-based practices. Flexible, part-time, clinic-based role in Sanford, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Florida PT license in good standing
- Florida Medicaid provider number (or eligibility to apply)
- Experience working with pediatric populations with diverse physical disabilities
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, family-focused care
