Job Summary
Implement the plan of care for residents under supervision, carry out treatment programs per the plan, supervise Rehab Therapy Aides, educate staff and family, identify equipment needs, complete documentation, coordinate in-services, participate in continuing education, and promote the profession within the facility. Requires PTA program associate degree and active state license, with duties spanning screening residents, modifying treatment plans in collaboration with RPT, discharge planning, and program development within a West St. Paul, MN facility.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Active state physical therapy license
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure per location
