Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately. Prepare specimens for testing, maintain logs, and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm with flexibility for overtime. This role serves as the face of Labcorp in a fast-paced office setting, offering opportunities for continuous growth and a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
- 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric - geriatric)
- Current or prior LabCorp experience
