Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, process billing, and prepare samples for analysis. Maintain patient logs, handle administrative duties, and travel to additional sites when needed. Provide superior customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment. This role supports Labcorp's mission to advance diagnostics and improve health outcomes globally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
- Current or prior LabCorp experience
