Job Summary
Part-time Pharmacist opportunity focused on compliant prescription processing, regulatory compliance, and operational leadership within a warehouse/pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include ensuring all prescriptions meet federal, state, and local requirements; validating prescription accuracy; maintaining secure, clean facilities; planning and prioritizing short- and long-term operational plans and budgets; directing pharmacy operations and collaborating with the sales team, management, veterinarians, and office staff to optimize efficiency and relationships; mentoring staff and handling performance reviews; and ensuring effective communication across teams. Requires a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy and an active state Pharmacist license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses; strong computer skills; excellent communication; attention to detail; and time-management abilities. Must be able to read, write, and speak English; experience in pharmacy operations and veterinary pharmacy is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current state Board of Pharmacy license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states
- Good computer skills with various applications
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience
- Attention to detail with ability to problem solve effectively
- Demonstrated success in prioritizing and time-management
- Superior service-orientation, communication and interpersonal skills
