Job Summary
Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy. Review orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing, resolving discrepancies with customer pharmacy personnel. Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Assist in pharmacy operations by troubleshooting equipment, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory. May supervise IV technicians and interns while performing assigned quality control functions. Provide after-hour on-call coverage as needed. Requires a PharmD or Bachelor's degree, valid Texas pharmacist license, and IV certification. Schedule includes 11am-6pm with alternating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or PharmD
- 1+ years related experience
- Valid Pharmacist license in TX
- Completion of ACPE accredited IV Certification
- Must be available for alternating weekends and company holidays
