Job Summary
Handle teller transactions, sales, and service for consumer and small business clients using a needs-based approach. Offer and sell bank products including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs while actively listening for opportunities and promoting solutions. Maintain detailed product knowledge, resolve customer complaints, and follow security policies to prevent losses. Collaborate with the branch team to achieve strategic goals and referral objectives. Maintain confidentiality in all customer interactions. Work Monday through Friday with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Two or more years of related experience in Financial Services industry
- Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective selling and referral skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Weekend availability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Banking: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
