Job Summary
Provide high quality care for patients with a broad range of complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness. Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system and frequently work with neurosurgical and neurological subspecialists, particularly in epilepsy and stroke. Deliver inpatient general neurology consultation while adhering to a schedule that includes weekday and/or weekend coverage, with flexibility as needs change. Engage with the education, research, and clinical program of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to participate in establishing practice standards and protocols for inpatient neurology care quality.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented system
- Ability to respectfully collaborate and build relationships with teammates
- Candidates must have excellent clinical skills
