Job Summary
Coordinate People & Culture/Human Resources responsibilities for a hotel-based HR team. Develop, implement and administer policies and programs related to management of hotel personnel; monitor compliance with state and federal laws; provide guidance to General Manager, management staff, and associates to maximize quality and professionalism of the hotel staff; manage labor relations by administering union contracts, handling grievances in writing, negotiating settlements, and acting as hotel representative at arbitrations; coordinate pre-selection activities including drug testing and reference checks to ensure policy compliance; ensure all hires possess proper employment eligibility verifications; instruct training classes and analyze current methods to improve programs; leverage computer tools like Teams and Canva to stay organized and create content; maintain a positive and productive employment environment with fair and consistent application; perform other duties as assigned; compensation $26.00-$28.00 per hour.
