Part Time Patient Services Representative Associate

Greets and welcomes patients in person, directing them to appointments and procedures while collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and benefits information. Interviews patients to complete required paperwork, including financial assistance applications, and explains cost information to collect co-pays and deductibles. Resolves claim issues or registration errors by documenting resolutions in the electronic medical record and provides customer service for inbound and outbound telephone calls. Assists in scheduling add-on appointments and may mentor other staff or gather medical record information as needed. Works standard daytime hours Monday through Friday for the first three weeks, followed by 2-3 day shifts starting between 5:30am and 9:30am or evening shifts starting between 2:30pm and 3:00pm per business need. Works every third holiday and every third weekend.
