Job Summary
Provide a positive patient experience by answering calls and handling scheduling tasks in a fast-paced Access Center. Responsibilities include scheduling/rescheduling/canceling appointments, directing requests to appropriate clinics or nurses, updating demographic/insurance information, managing referral work queues, and collaborating with clinical partners to uphold scheduling protocols. Requires strong communication, ability to meet productivity and quality standards, and willingness to work from home per policy if needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related setting is preferred; EMR familiarity is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience in a contact center preferred
- Previous healthcare experience with medical terminology preferred
- Previous experience with electronic medical record (EMR) preferred
