Job Summary
Answer phones and work across multiple screens to intake patient information accurately during registration at Intermountain St George Regional Hospital. Collect details between physician and nurse check-ins while building rapport with patients who may be very ill or anxious. Type quickly to keep pace with patients and handle emergent clinical care interruptions. Listen with compassion to address fears and concerns, not just data entry. Requires high school diploma, up-to-date vaccinations, and passing a drug test and background check. This role serves as a starting point for a healthcare career at R1 RCM, where you will learn everything needed to manage revenue and simplify the healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
- Must be up to date on all vaccinations (including but not limited to COVID-19 and annual flu shot)
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check prior to hire
- Must be able to work on computers and answer phones
- Must be comfortable working across multiple programs
- Must be able to type quickly
