Job Summary
Part Time Patient Access Representative Associate greets patients in person, collects demographic and insurance information, checks in and interviews patients to complete paperwork, verifies insurance eligibility, assists with scheduling and financial assistance programs, collects co-pays/deductibles, documents in the electronic medical record, resolves registration issues, provides customer service for inbound/outbound calls, and may mentor other staff. Requires ability to navigate EMR systems, knowledge of registration processes, and flexibility to work a biweekly rotating schedule in a hospital/office setting.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of customer service experience in an office/hospital setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work the following biweekly rotating schedule
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
