Job Summary
Conduct daily pickups and deliveries of parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Pull correct parts and quantities for deliveries or shipments, then unload the truck nightly, turn in paperwork, and return cash or checks with proper invoices to the cashier office. Take orders for pick-ups or deliveries without hesitation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Drive up to 250 miles per day in heavy traffic, maintaining courtesy and professionalism while obeying traffic laws.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic
- Ability to drive up to 250 miles per day
- Courtesy & professional while driving
- Ability to obey all traffic laws
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk or hear
