Part Time Parts Driver - Fowler Volkswagen

Job Summary
Conduct daily parts pickups and deliveries for customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors while pulling correct parts and quantities. Unload the truck each night, turn in all paperwork, and return cash or checks with proper invoices to the cashier office. Take orders for pick-ups or deliveries without hesitation while driving up to 250 miles per day in heavy traffic. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards while maintaining courtesy and professionalism with customers. Operate a vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and handle physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic and drive up to 250 miles per day
- Courtesy & professional while driving
- Ability to obey all traffic laws
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to stand

- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
