Job Summary
Paraprofessional 1 on 1 at Tecumseh Junior High School under the supervision of special education or classroom teachers. Responsibilities include ensuring student safety and instruction across activities and locations, maintaining confidentiality, assisting with arrival/departure, escorting students, aiding with daily living activities, supporting instructional objectives with teachers and therapists, supervising and assisting in various school settings, implementing behavior management strategies, preparing materials, recording attendance and performance, and attending IEP meetings as requested by staff.
Required Qualifications
- 48 hours of earned credit or ParaPro assessment passed (ParaPro certification may be earned after start at a lower pay rate)
