Job Summary
Part-Time Package Handler loads, unloads, and sorts freight accurately and in a timely manner. Duties include unloading packages by hand from fleet vehicles, scanning barcode labels for tracking, sorting by zip code/city/state, stacking freight into trailers to optimize space, washing fleet vehicles, and performing light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse. Hours are Tuesday–Saturday starting at 6:00 AM; pay range $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience. Requires ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and to work with various freight types (including hazardous material, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals).
