Job Summary
Load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner from fleet vehicles. Scan package barcode labels for tracking, stack cargo into trailers to prevent damage and maximize space, and wash vehicles to maintain company image. Perform light custodial duties to keep the warehouse clean and safe, and complete other duties as assigned. This role requires bending, lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively and 100 pounds occasionally, and working with various freight types including hazardous materials and perishables. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday starting at 4:00 AM with pay of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
