Job Summary
Two-person married couples live on campus as Flex Houseparents, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially a nine-on/three-off schedule with later transition to a Placed Houseparent role within a student home; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Requires two-person married couple, legally married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older; on-campus housing and a full benefits package are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year-married requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
