Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to live in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, and planning/developing development and recreational activities. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent assignment living with the same group of students. Benefits include relocation assistance and paid training; employment requires both spouses to complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
