Part Time Orthodontic Assistant

Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant to support orthodontists during patient visits, procedures, and treatments. Responsibilities include assisting during examinations and procedures, preparing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment, taking and developing dental x-rays, educating patients on dental hygiene, maintaining patient records, ensuring a clean and sterile environment, and scheduling patient appointments with follow-up on treatment plans. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred, and X-ray certification; experience in a dental office (preferably orthodontics) and strong communication and organizational skills are valued. Hours may include evenings and weekends.
