Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams, preventive vision assessments, and prescribe vision correction in-clinic on Mondays and Fridays. Educate patients on eye health and follow-up treatments while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to regulatory compliance. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient workflow and high-quality care. Provide input on clinical protocols and process improvements. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
- Active California Optometrist License (or equivalent)
- Enrollment with Medi-Cal
- Demonstrated experience in primary eye care and preventive services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Monday and Friday availability required
Desired Qualifications
- Therapeutically certified
- Glaucoma certified
- Experience with complex eye conditions and preventive programs
