Job Summary
Participate in precise set-up and disassembly of stage equipment, hockey glass, ice floor covering, dasher boards, dressing rooms and other event related equipment; maintain and repair facility equipment and perform preventative maintenance; conduct pre/post event or conversion inspections with checklists to ensure safety and proper conditions; perform cleaning and maintenance of operations equipment; work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines; contribute as a team player in a multi-client environment; assist with supervising temporary labor; comply with OSHA/TOSHA regulations; be prepared for long/irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Some experience in operation of light machinery
- Prior conversion or event experience preferred
- Ability to read and write and to follow written and oral instructions and complete standardized checklist forms
- Ability to work long and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Required to work long hours on event days
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools
- Possess a valid driver’s license, driving history and be insurable by SS&E’s insurance carrier
- Background check (criminal history, driving history, character references)
