Job Summary
Assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. Duties include helping with day-to-day store activities, assisting customers, organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, maintaining seasonal areas, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives and communications, maintaining promotional displays and store-front fixtures, assisting in ordering merchandise and handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, and ensuring loss prevention and safety standards. Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment with professional interactions for customers and staff. The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a part-time retail setting. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, etc.)
