Part time One-on-One Assistant

Job Summary
Provide health and academic support to an elementary student with medical and educational needs throughout the school day. Administer tube feedings and related care procedures; assist with wheelchair mobility, transfers, toileting, and personal care; document medical procedures accurately; support classroom instruction and independent work; help the student stay engaged, organized, and on task; implement accommodations outlined in the student’s educational plan; facilitate the use of the student’s communication device; collaborate with teachers, school nurses, therapists, and administrators; promote safety, confidentiality, and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children or individuals with medical needs preferred
- Ability to perform wheelchair transfers and mobility assistance
- Willingness to complete training on tube-feeding procedures and student health care
