Job Summary
Provide health and academic support to an elementary student with medical needs: administer tube feedings and related care, assist with wheelchair transfers and mobility, support classroom participation and academic tasks, help with communication devices, and collaborate with teachers, nurses, and therapists to implement the student’s educational plan while maintaining confidentiality and promoting safety, dignity, and inclusion throughout the school day.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely perform wheelchair transfers and assist with mobility needs
- Willingness to complete training on tube-feeding procedures, student health care, and safety protocols
