Job Summary
Conduct food preparation and distribution for students at North Polk High School during the 7:30 am to 1:30 pm shift. Operate kitchen equipment, manage stairs, and handle communicable disease risks while bending, carrying, climbing, and lifting objects up to 45 pounds. Perform tasks requiring hands-on manipulation of objects, pushing, pulling, and reaching in environments with extreme hot and cold temperatures from equipment. This part-time role includes IPERS and paid sick leave benefits for the team providing meals to over 2,200 learners in the Des Moines metro area.
