Job Summary
Administer medications based on medical orders and maintain management of medication inventory. Monitor patient demeanor during induction phases and all medication administration while observing urine drug screens as needed. Assist the Medical Director in crisis interventions and identify critical incidents for reporting. Follow state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs and answer after-hours calls for dosing verification. Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality per Federal Law, with CPR/First Aid certification required. Work Monday through Friday from 5:15am to 1pm, with a Saturday rotation from 6:30am to 9:30am. Flexible part-time schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- A nursing License is required from an accredited school.
- Valid NC nursing license (LPN or RN).
- Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law.
- CPR/First Aid.
- Available to answer calls after hours for dosing verification.
