Job Summary
Part-time Nurse (RN or LPN) at Center City Housing Corp. responsible for supporting resident health needs in a supportive housing building serving formerly homeless individuals. Duties include medication management, scheduling medical care and referrals, ensuring compliance with licensure, maintaining resident medical records, providing health education, and supporting Harm Reduction and Housing First program goals. Requires nursing license and Minnesota Background Study clearance; preferred experience with homeless populations, chemical dependency, and mental illness. Strong communication, data documentation, and collaboration with staff and external agencies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing license required (RN or LPN)
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minnesota Background Study clearance
- Experience with homeless populations, chemically dependent and mentally ill individuals
- Ability to read, analyze, and complete government documentation
- Effective communication with residents and external agencies
- Confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to respond to occasional emergencies
