Job Summary
Read pick tickets and assemble product loads while loading pallets onto trucks using a forklift. Unload trucks and restock the warehouse as needed to maintain a clean and safe atmosphere. Assist the operations department and perform clerical work when required. This operational role involves driving a forklift and vehicles within company property, lifting materials up to 170 pounds, and reading written instructions. Candidates must have prior warehouse experience and forklift certification, with flexibility to work a third shift schedule from 8pm to 4am Monday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a third shift schedule
- Fork lift certified
- Lifting/carrying material up 170 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid medical card
- An eagerness to learn
- Flexibility to schedule work hours and vacation around peak work times
- Ability to shift priorities, work assignments, and perform clerical work if necessary
- Driving a fork lift
- Loading and unloading product
- Maintaining and driving vehicles in and around company property
- Reading written material
- Using hand tools
- Using a computer
- Lifting/carrying material under 170 pounds
- Comply and pass all drug, background, work assessment and driving checks
