Job Summary
Develop store atmosphere focused on customer service, safety, and cleanliness goals while assisting the store manager in exceeding gross profit, shrink, and sales targets. Manage associate schedules and training to maximize productivity, monitor POS transactions for various tenders, and ensure product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and proper case temperatures. Identify unsafe conditions, report safety risks or illegal activity including robbery and theft, and adhere to restricted sale guidelines. Maintain health department and store safety procedures knowledge, with physical requirements including lifting 50 pounds and standing long periods. Support the Renfroe's mission statement through daily operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items due to age
- Be knowledgeable of health department and store safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions throughout the store
- Be knowledgeable of managerial procedures in case of a customer or employee accident
- Report all safety risk, or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud
