Job Summary
Conduct afternoon and early evening household administration, dinner preparation, and laundry management for a Darien family of three young boys. Provide one-on-one care for a single child while the afternoon nanny attends to the others, supporting age-appropriate play and outdoor routines in a fenced backyard. Coordinate daily priorities with the household team and assist with mealtime and evening routines. This part-time role includes guaranteed 25 hours weekly from Monday through Friday, with workers' compensation and a health insurance stipend. The family values an organized, punctual candidate who can combine childcare with general home upkeep.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience combining household support with childcare, or comparable background
- Confident caring for one young child at a time, including infants and toddlers
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong, proactive communication skills
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
