Part-Time Music Teacher (Contract Position)

Teach two sections of 7th Grade Music daily, delivering standards-aligned lessons in theory, rhythm, notation, and performance while differentiating instruction for diverse learners. Organize and lead 1–2 after-school band rehearsals weekly, preparing students for school performances and community events. Build meaningful relationships with students, encourage creativity and collaboration, and communicate progress to families. Maintain accurate attendance and grade records, attend staff meetings and professional development, and collaborate with school leadership. This contract runs August 2026 through May 2027 at a total value of $14,000 for services rendered as an independent contractor.
