Job Summary
Stock and handle all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail accounts between Grayling and Gaylord, ensuring effective shelf placement and display effectiveness. Collaborate with store personnel to manage product conditions and address out-of-stocks with District and Area Managers. Operate in the field with daily travel, driving in all weather conditions while maintaining a professional demeanor and clean vehicle. Correctly execute workday plans, utilize reports and pre-plans, and communicate daily with management. Requires daytime hours Monday through Friday with potential evening and weekend shifts, up to 28 hours per week. Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- A valid driver's license
- An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Consent to a driving record check
- Consent to a background check on a criminal record
- Consent to a physical evaluation
- Consent to an agility(lift) test
- Consent to a drug screen
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb
- Ability to drive in all weather conditions
- Ability to work daytime hours Monday through Friday
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours based on holiday schedules and business needs
- Ability to work up to 28 hours per week
- Ability to adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual
- Ability to cooperate with all management and staff of GLWAS
- Ability to follow all MLCC rules and regulations
- Ability to use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years sales experience
