Job Summary
Stock, rotate, and display all products at retailer locations to established standards while maintaining clean, organized backrooms and cleaning coolers, vendors, and shelving. Adhere to company policies, OSHA, AIB, and federal/state/local laws by wearing required personal protective equipment. Communicate with retailers and management on pricing, products, and program issues, and interact with consumers according to standards. Complete daily merchandiser logs, mileage reports, store and vendor logs, and time-off requests. Handle, stock, and organize alcohol products while maintaining confidentiality of pricing and customer information. Collaborate with Account Managers and store management to identify sales opportunities using Point of Sale materials and secure displays. Order appropriate product quantities to satisfy customer needs and communicate with co-workers to maintain customer service standards. Operate powered industrial trucks including motorized pallet jacks in compliance with safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Valid Driver's license; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment
- Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
- Knowledge of: retail sales environment; beverage industry; stocking, rotating and displaying products; product line
- Skill in: external customer service in a variety of settings
- Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently without direct supervision
- Ability to: adapt to change
- Ability to: display a professional, positive attitude
- Ability to: read (e.g. diagrams, maps, planograms) and write
- Ability to: communicate effectively with customers and other employees and develop good working relationships
- Ability to: be trained on operating a pallet jack, tow motor and other mechanical equipment
