Job Summary
Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all shoppers, embodying customer service principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Accurately ring purchases and returns, count change, process merchandise for the sales floor, and uphold merchandising standards. Adhere to operational, loss prevention, and labor policies while supporting store recovery, shrink reduction goals, and safety awareness. May be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas as needed. This part-time role at HomeGoods supports the TJX family's mission of delighting shoppers with hidden treasures across nearly 4,700 stores.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses excellent customer service skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Capable of responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Works effectively with peers and supervisors
- Retail customer experience preferred
