Job Summary
Merchandise Associate at HomeGoods/TJX responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer-experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas, supports and embodies a positive store culture, accurately rings purchases/returns, promotes credit and loyalty programs, processes merchandise for the sales floor, participates in store recovery and safety, and adheres to labor laws and loss-prevention standards. Requires excellent customer service, ability to work a flexible schedule, strong communication and organizational skills, multi-tasking capability, and physical ability to lift heavy objects. Retail customer experience is preferred.
