Job Summary
Manage patient rooming, update medical histories, and document visit details for up to 40 daily patients while assisting with dermatological procedures including biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Administer local anesthesia, remove sutures, and perform ED&Cs, laser treatments, and excisions while maintaining strict sterile techniques and infection control protocols. Handle administrative tasks by processing prescription refills, managing prior authorizations, logging pathology samples, and operating specialized equipment such as Narrowband UVB units. Clean examination rooms and replenish supplies. This part-time role includes two regular days per week plus per diem hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of medical assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
