Job Summary
Part-time Medical Assistant position in a busy Primary Care/Allergy practice in Clearwater and Palm Harbor, requiring patient care skills, excellent communication, and ability to work in a team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification from approved entity or Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved entity
- 1+ year experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Demonstrated ability to work in a stressful environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical records
- Proficient in word processing software and spreadsheet software
Desired Qualifications
- Possesses both MA Certification and MA Diploma
- Allergy and/or Primary Care practice experience
- Athenahealth electronic medical record experience
- Experience working with Google Workspace
- Experience performing manual blood pressure check, pulmonary function test, and EKG
