Job Summary
Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD based on engineering layouts and design concepts. Review work requests from Project Management and Engineering teams to produce accurate, high-quality, production-ready drawings. Generate, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) while reading complex engineering drawings to provide accurate detailing. This part-time, contract position supports ongoing and upcoming production needs for custom engineering projects, with hours that may scale alongside production demands.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and drawing creation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Degree or Certification in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Effective communication between engineering and manufacturing team members
- US Citizen or an otherwise lawful US Resident
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor
- 3 years of experience with AutoCAD
- Experience in mechanical design or process design using AutoCAD
