Job Summary
Deliver exceptional massage and bodywork services tailored to guest needs while conducting consultations to identify appropriate treatments. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized spa facility by setting up stations, assisting with linens, and sterilizing equipment. Accompany guests to treatment rooms and maintain accurate records while complying with all applicable standards. Work part-time seasonal hours from spring to fall, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Earn an hourly wage plus service-based commission and guaranteed 20% gratuity. Required Qualifications
- State of Maine Massage License
- 6+ months of work experience as a massage therapist
- Proficient knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massage
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent people skills
- Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, and unpredictable hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be available to work on Sundays and Thursdays
- Must be available for additional days throughout the week
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for nights
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for a full-time seasonal basis from Spring to Fall
