Job Summary
Review and audit websites for content updates, entering and changing WordPress material as needed. Assist with social media post creation, graphic requests, and tracking receipts while maintaining promotional item inventory. Support label update projects by tracking new arrivals and adding them to retail shelves. Contribute to the planning and execution of the Red Gold Annual Chili Cookoff and foodservice trade shows. Manage administrative duties including packing, shipping, and assembling point-of-sale materials. Requires current undergraduate enrollment, proficiency in social platforms and Microsoft Office, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrolment in an undergraduate degree program
- Interest and aptitude to work in marketing, communications, or special events
- In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, X, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and learn new skills quickly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time whether that be sitting or standing
- The employee must be able to use fingers to constantly operate a computer or other type of office equipment
- The employee in this position must be able to regularly walk
- The employees must be able to use hands to handle and feel
- The employee must be able to reach with both hands and arms
- The employee must be able to visually detect, perceive, or recognize in near and far distances
- The employee must be able to converse or convey with other individuals
- The employee may occasionally be required to crouch
- The employee may occasionally lift/carry items as heavy as 40 pounds
