Job Summary
Part Time Manager/Senior Manager - Tax, Integrated Partnership Solutions at KPMG leads partnership tax compliance and consulting for Fortune 100 to mid-market clients, guiding teams on partnership economics, tax distributions, and lifecycle events; acts as senior liaison for internal/external clients, manages budgets and risk, stays current on tax practices and technology, and contributes to market activities. Requires 5 years of relevant partnership tax experience (Senior Manager level requires 8+), a Bachelor's degree, and one of CPA/EA/JD/LLM credentials with a one-year path to credentials if not possessed at hire; must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Strong leadership, communication, and tax software skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent or Juris Doctor (J.D)./Master of Laws (LL.M.), in addition to others on the firm's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills; experience with MS Office applications and third-party tax reporting software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information
