Job Summary
Performs quality X-Ray films for referring physicians and assists other X-ray technicians as needed. Responsible for performing routine X-rays, stock room supplies, and supporting related duties as required. Requires a high school diploma with specialized schooling/experience in radiology; ARRT certification required and BLS certification preferred. 6+ months related experience and/or on-the-job training; medical imaging experience preferred. Ensures patient care and accuracy in imaging, participates in vaccination policy (MMR and flu shot), and supports a patient-focused outpatient imaging environment. Schedule is part-time with weekday evenings and one Saturday per month. This role supports radiology services across the imaging workflow within an outpatient radiology setting.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months related experience and/or training (or equivalent)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Experience: Medical imaging: 1 year (Preferred)
- Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
