Job Summary
Part-Time Maintenance Technician responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of affordable housing properties. Responsibilities include surveying buildings, repairing mechanical systems to meet health and safety standards, performing maintenance and installation of systems (lighting, circuits, heating, plumbing), inspecting alarm systems, performing manual repairs (locks, windows), and supporting a variety of tasks such as painting, janitorial, landscaping, and snow removal. Must be able to navigate smartphones and electronic work orders, and lift up to 90 lbs while standing up to 8 hours. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and may possess HVAC/building maintenance certification; CMPR or related credentials are a plus. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
