Job Summary
Maintenance Attendant supports the hotel maintenance operations, performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and A/C equipment; logs findings; reports safety and security concerns; and assists with upkeep of guest rooms and public areas. The role requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adhering to OSHA-based safety procedures including lockout-tagout; reports to the Chief Engineer. Part-time position based in Ocean City, MD within a Stonebridge property; responsibilities include monitoring utility consumption and completing maintenance tasks in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of maintenance systems, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Familiarity with safety procedures, including lockout-tagout
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
